Bogner Construction has partnered with the Wayne County Public Library for over 2 decades providing Consulting and Construction Management Services. Under Bogner’s guidance they have built seven branch locations in Wooster, Creston, Dalton, Doylestown, Rittman, Shreve, and West Salem. With the latest partnership being a brand-new facility in Rittman, Ohio.
Originally, the Rittman Library was first located inside Rittman High School over 90 years ago, then moved to the basement of City Hall before becoming a branch of the Wooster Public Library and subsequently, the Wayne County public library. Once the new facility opens, the former Ohio Avenue location will be transferred over to Rittman’s City Hall.
The new 15,000 square foot facility features state-of-the-art services with an open and transparent layout which includes over 9,000 square feet dedicated to books and reading spaces. The library included in their build, a large meeting room that is available for the community to utilize. To enhance children’s activities and services, a large, enclosed outdoor patio area was incorporated, complete with seating walls and artificial turf. The Rittman branch is also the central location for Wayne County Public Library’s book distribution and collections. It features a workspace to log and sort books to be disbursed to the other branch locations as well as a four-bay garage for vehicle storage and loading.
