Bogner Construction Company has been in business since
1897 and equipment relocation and rigging account for a substantial part of its annual volume. "We enjoy millwrighting," said Bob Bogner, company vice president and head of the
millwrighting division. "It is not a sideline for us. We have the experience, the dedication and the equipment to do a first class job for you at a moment's notice with minimal disruption to your work program."
"Pre-planning is the most critical part of the project," said Bogner, "and doing it right can save our clients time and money. We want to work with you to meet your needs," he said. "Sometimes this means working around the clock until the job is done. It always means providing safe, efficient service with a sensitivity for maintaining
your ongoing operations."

The Bogner Team
Bob Bogner, Vice President of Bogner Construction Company, is the man in charge.
Bob and one of Bogner's millwright foremen will assess your needs and decide how to use Bogner's extensive fleet of equipment and qualified personnel to do the best job for you.
Pre-planning is the key to providing successful crane and millwrighting service. "We will meet with you and help you design the lift to save time and money while minimizing the impact on your organization." said Bogner. "Bogner Construction has the experience and the equipment to do the job right. We know that down time is unproductive time and that you have a considerable investment in plant and equipment to protect. Our personnel will work on your schedule, night or day. Whether it is millwright work or crane service, you can count on us to get in and get out fast to minimize disruption and make your project as easy for you as possible."
The Bogner Fleet
Bogner Construction Company has over 100 pieces of equipment in its fleet including the heavy over-the-road equipment required to move your machinery from one place to another:
- 5 hydraulic cranes, 15-60 ton capacity
- forklift capacity to 20,000 pounds
- 3 carryalls
- 3 trucks equipped with welders and cutting torches
Bogner is experienced in working with state regulatory agencies to get the permits necessary to move heavy equipment over public roadways.
Bogner Will Be There
Planning is the key to doing a good job for you and Bogner Construction Company does its homework. Adequate planning guarantees that Bogner will be there when the time is right. "Time spent in this kind of planning maximizes your investment," said Bob Bogner. "We look the situation over carefully and come prepared with the right equipment the first time."
Safety First
The Bogner Construction Company has never experienced a lost-time accident when relocating equipment. Twice in the last ten years it has won the coveted safety award of the Ohio Contractor's Association, an organization of 1000 members that represents the cream of the crop within Ohio's construction industry.
Bogner's employees come into your workplace with safety on their minds. They can bring their own safety equipment with them: fire extinguishers, safety signs, barricades, and shielding equipment for any required welding. As an added protection for all concerned, Bogner carries seven million dollars of liability insurance.
Extraordinary Service
"We will be there when you need us," said Bob Bogner. "Call us anytime ... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for service." The Bogner staff
is ready to solve your problems at a moment's notice. The management team, which includes two licensed civil engineers, is ready to provide you with budget estimates and value engineering. Bogner's
108 years of experience allows it to select suppliers and subcontractors who are most reliable and who can be called upon to provide the highest quality of service at the most reasonable cost.
Machinery Foundation Work
Bogner Construction Company has the ability to design and/or build your equipment foundations. The installation pictured at
left is a large combination press pit for five underdrive Danley presses. This project involved working in the heart of an existing facility. The pit was 22 feet deep and totally protected by sheet piling. Over 2500 yards of concrete were used in the installation.
During this three-phase project, Bogner completed the foundation, then the presses were stacked so that the superstructure of the building could proceed. While the superstructure was being completed, the presses were aligned and mechanical services were hooked up. The structural steel pit flooring was then completed. This five-month project was delivered to the client three weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
BOGNER MEETS O.S.H.A. STANDARDS FOR PERSONNEL HOISTING

Bogner Construction Company's 60-ton hydraulic truck crane has been fitted with the required safety equipment to meet

OSHA standards. Our staff has been trained to complete all personnel hoisting and lifting procedures in strict compliance with the applicable
OSHA standards, including crane and lifting equipment inspections, proof testing, trial lifts and pre-lift meetings.
