Millwrighting & crane Services
A Critical Part of Your Bottom Line
Bogner Construction Company has been in business since 1897 and equipment relocation, rigging and crane service account for a substantial part of our annual volume. "We enjoy millwrighting," said Bob Bogner, Company Vice President and Partner-in-Charge of the millwrighting division. "It is not a sideline for us. We have the experience, the dedication and the equipment to do a first class job for you at a moment's notice with minimal disruption to your work program."
"Pre-planning is the most critical part of the project," said Bogner, "and doing it right can save our clients time and money. We want to work with you to meet your needs," he
said. "Sometimes this means working around the clock until the job is done. It always means providing safe, efficient service with sensitivity for maintaining your ongoing operations."
“We know that down time is unproductive time and that you have a considerable investment in plant and equipment to protect. Our personnel will work on your schedule, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, night or day. Whether it is millwright work or crane service, you can count on us to get in and get out fast to minimize disruption and make your project as easy for you as possible."

Bogner's employees come into your workplace with safety on their minds. If required, they can bring their own safety equipment with them: fire extinguishers, safety signs, barricades, and shielding equipment for welding.
Machinery Foundation Work
Bogner Construction Company has the ability to design and/or build your equipment foundations. The installation pictured here is a large combination press pit for five underdrive Danley presses. This project involved working in the heart of an existing facility. The pit was 22 feet deep and totally protected by sheet piling. Over 5,100 yards of concrete were used in the installation.
During this three-phase project, Bogner completed the foundation, installing the huge double 36” beams, which suspended the presses in the pit. Then the presses were stacked so that the superstructure of the building could proceed. While the superstructure was being completed, the presses were aligned and mechanical services were configured. The structural steel pit flooring [which was designed to take the static weight of the owner's "die mover", plus a 50 ton die, and the dynamic load of the die being dropped 1"] was then completed. This five-month project was delivered to the client three weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
